ImmoNoise does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. To provide its functionality—showing noise pollution data for properties in Berlin—the extension extracts the address from the ImmobilienScout24 listing you are viewing. This address data is used exclusively to fetch high-precision noise maps from official public sources.
The Extension requires the following permissions to function:
Storage: This permission is used to store high-level extension preferences locally on your device (e.g., if you have closed certain UI elements) but does not store identity or browsing history data.
Host Permissions (ImmobilienScout24, Berlin GDI, api-immonoise): The extension requires access to ImmobilienScout24 to detect addresses and display the noise badge, and access to official geographic data services (gdi.berlin.de) and our dedicated API bridge (api-immonoise.martinaberastegue.com) to fetch noise indices for those addresses.
The extension does not track your general browsing activities, and it only activates on specific property listing pages on ImmobilienScout24.
All data processing relating to the property address (converting the address to noise levels) is performed to provide the core value of the extension. No address data is permanently stored on our servers; it is processed in real-time to return the relevant noise indices.
Since the Extension does not collect or store any personal data, there are no specific data security measures in place. We are committed to ensuring that the extension operates safely and does not introduce security risks to your browser environment.
The Extension interacts with official public data services (Umweltatlas Berlin/GDI Berlin) to provide accurate information. These interactions are limited to requesting data for the specific address you are viewing.
